MW4 Beta Forged Blueprint: How To Get It?
The MW4 Beta Forged blueprint unlocks at Player Level 30 during Beta Weekend Two only. Here's exactly how to get it, the deadline, and the fastest way there.

You get the MW4 Beta Forged blueprint by reaching Player Level 30 during Beta Weekend Two (the Open Beta) — it's the final reward on the level track, and it's the only way to earn it. No challenge, no code, no purchase in the store. Just XP.
Here's the catch that trips people up: you cannot get it in Weekend One. Let me break down exactly what it is, when the window closes, and how to hit 30 before the Beta ends.
How to get the MW4 Beta Forged blueprint
The verdict: play Multiplayer, grind Player XP, hit Level 30 in the second Beta weekend. That's the whole recipe.
The main MW4 Beta progression track contains eight rewards from Level 4 to Level 30. You earn them by gaining Player XP during Multiplayer matches rather than completing separate challenges. The Beta Forged blueprint sits at the very top of that track.
The level cap is the real gate here. Weekend 1 is capped at Level 20, while Weekend 2 raises the maximum Player Level to 30. So if you only played Early Access, the highest reward you could reach was the Dread Tiger Operator Skin at Level 20 — Beta Forged stays locked until the second weekend opens the cap.
One more thing worth knowing before you sweat the Early Access grind: your Level 20 progression carries into Weekend Two, but additional XP earned after reaching the Weekend One cap does not bank toward Level 21. Translation — once you hit 20 in Weekend One, keep playing for fun if you want, but you're not building a head start.
Which weapon is the Beta Forged blueprint for?
The Han 86 Assault Rifle. There was some early confusion here, and it's worth clearing up because you'll still see old info floating around.
The final main MW4 Beta reward is the Beta Forged Epic Weapon Blueprint for the Han 86 Assault Rifle, unlocked at Level 30. Activision's latest Beta reward list identifies the Han 86 as the weapon used for Beta Forged. Earlier Beta information listed the ISO Nightshade SMG, but the updated official reward list names the Han 86. A lot of guides published before the switch still say ISO Nightshade — that's outdated. Official Call of Duty channels now list it as the Han 86.
Bonus: reaching Level 30 does double duty. Reaching Level 30 therefore does more than complete the Beta reward track. It also opens access to the remainder of the 19-weapon Multiplayer pool.
Will it carry over to the full game?
Yes — this is the part that makes the grind worth it. These rewards will not be available to earn after the Modern Warfare 4 Beta concludes. All Beta Rewards that you unlock will be available in the full game when it releases on October 23.
But read that carefully. The cosmetic reward carries over. Your Beta rank does not. Normal Player Level, weapon progression, and other Beta gameplay progression reset after the Beta. Earned Beta-specific rewards carry into... the full launch. So the blueprint is permanent; the levelling you did to earn it is not. Miss the window and it's gone for good.
The deadline — and why speed matters
Mark your calendar. Early Access (Weekend One) runs from Aug. 21 to Aug. 25 for players who pre-ordered the game and those with access codes, while Open Beta (Weekend Two) takes place from Aug. 28 to Sept. 1 and is available to all players.
That means your entire Level-30 grind has to fit inside the Aug. 28–Sept. 1 window. Four days. If you've got a job and a life, that's tighter than it looks.
Good news on access, though: you don't need to own the game. Yes. You can earn every reward during the Weekend 2 Open Beta without purchasing the game.
Fastest way to hit Level 30
My verdict after every recent COD Beta: XP-per-minute is king, so play the modes that print score. Skip slow modes.
- Play objective modes. Hardpoint and Domination reward objective ticks on top of kills, which stacks XP fast. Skip Team Deathmatch entirely. Consider playing objective modes instead. Matches like Hardpoint and Domination, where objective ticks output massive point values, generally work best for farming.
- Stack Daily Challenges. New Daily Challenges become available each day and award bonus XP. Many can be completed at the same time, making them one of the easiest ways to speed up Player Level progression.
- Fix your framerate first. Hardware stutters can also ruin your SPM (Score Per Minute). Double-check your system configuration against the Modern Warfare 4 Beta PC Specs to lock in stable frame rates. Smooth performance means winning more 1v1 gunfights. If you're hitting a boot wall, our MW4 TPM 2.0 & Secure Boot fix guide sorts the most common PC lockout.

Bottom line: Beta Forged isn't hard, it's a race against a four-day clock. The blueprint is guaranteed if you reach Level 30 in Weekend Two — the only variable is whether you have the hours to get there.
Quick answers
Can I get Beta Forged in Weekend One? No. Weekend One (Early Access) is capped at Level 20, so only the first five rewards can be earned during that period. Beta Forged sits at Level 30, which only unlocks in Weekend Two.
Is it a real weapon or just cosmetic? It's a cosmetic Epic blueprint for the Han 86 Assault Rifle — a skin variant, not a stat change. It carries into the full game at launch on October 23.
Do I need to buy MW4 to earn it? No. The Open Beta in Weekend Two is free to everyone, and you can unlock all eight rewards — including Beta Forged — without a pre-order.

What's the difference between the Level 20 and Level 30 caps? Weekend One locks you at 20, which tops out at the Dread Tiger Operator Skin for Reece. Weekend Two lifts the cap to 30, opening the last three rewards plus the Beta Forged blueprint. If you only want the Level 20 gear, that's a separate, earlier goal.
Does my Weekend One progress help in Weekend Two? Partly. Your Level 20 carries over, but XP earned past the cap doesn't bank toward 21. So Early Access gets you a head start up to 20 and no further.
Is there anything else worth grinding in the Beta? Yes — the Litmus camo. You need to get 1,500 Operator Kills during the MW4 Beta to unlock Litmus. It is a separate challenge and is not tied to your Player Level. Reaching Level 30 does not auto-unlock it.
Grinding to Level 30 inside a four-day Open Beta means dozens of Hardpoint matches, and if you fall short, Beta Forged is gone permanently. If you'd rather lock the blueprint without living in the lobby all weekend, our MW4 Beta Level 20 Boostfrom $39.99 handles the climb on your own account so you don't miss the window.
