Pick your current rank and your goal — the next Prestige, Prestige Master or Level 1000 — and see how many matches, hours and days it takes by game mode, with Double XP and your Prestige path factored in.
Provisional model until launch data is published
MW4's 55-rank ladder, 10 Prestiges and Level 1000 cap are confirmed. The XP required per level is not yet published, so this calculator uses the Call of Duty standard cycle from the last two titles and labels every result an estimate. Numbers are replaced with official values at launch.
Overrides the modelled average with your own measured number.

MW4 bot lobbies and level boosts deliver XP, weapon levels and challenge progress on your account after launch.
55 military ranks per cycle. After 10 Prestiges you reach Prestige Master and can continue to Level 1000.
Classic Prestige resets your Create-a-Class unlocks in exchange for increased XP rates and exclusive rewards. Regular Prestige restarts you at Level 1 but keeps every gun and attachment.
The rank structure is confirmed. Per-level XP is provisional until Activision publishes it, and mode XP rates are averages — enter your own XP per match for a personal estimate.
Objective modes with long lifetimes — Hardpoint and Ground War — typically pay the most XP per hour. Stack Double XP tokens and, if you choose Classic Prestige, its rate bonus.
