Mercurial Drift is the first Multiplayer mastery camo in Modern Warfare 4 and the entry point of the Multiplayer ladder: Mercurial Drift → Polyatomic Reforged → Orion Reforged. It is earned per weapon — finish the weapon's Camo Track, which is shared across Multiplayer, Warzone and DMZ, and the Multiplayer mastery challenges open with Mercurial Drift as the first payout. The name is new to the series, and because Multiplayer is the quickest of the three tracks to grind, it is the mastery camo most players will see first — and the one most will want on more than one weapon.
The single price covers the full path to Mercurial Drift on one weapon: the shared Camo Track and the first set of Multiplayer mastery challenges. When does work on Mercurial Drift start?
Modern Warfare 4 launches on 23 October 2026 and camo work begins on launch day, in purchase order. You get a written ETA in your order chat before work starts; Express and Super Express move you up the launch queue. Orders that have not started are refundable in full.
