How to Rank Up Fast in BO7: Rank 55 & Prestige 1–10 Guide

How to rank up fast in Black Ops 7: which modes give the most XP, the loadout to run, how to stack multipliers, and what you keep or lose on each Prestige from Rank 1 to Prestige 10.

How to Rank Up Fast in BO7: Rank 55 & Prestige 1–10 Guide

The fastest way to rank up in Black Ops 7 is to run Double XP in objective modes like Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed and Domination, or in long Endgame and Zombies sessions, clear your daily challenges, and level weapons while you do it. Everything feeds the same Military Rank bar. Do that and Rank 1 to 55 goes a lot faster than queuing Team Deathmatch and hoping. If you don't want to repeat that 55-level climb ten times, our BO7 account leveling and Prestige boostfrom $4.90 lets you pick your current and target rank and handles the climb.

This guide covers Rank 1 to 55 and Prestige 1 to 10: how the system works, where the XP is, and what slows most players down. If you're already past Prestige 10, our Prestige Master level 1000 guide picks up from there.

How BO7 Rank and Prestige actually work

Short version: 55 levels, ten times over, then Prestige Master.

  • Military Rank runs from Private I (Level 1) to Commander (Level 55). You unlock weapons, perks, equipment, scorestreaks and wildcards along the way.
  • At 55 you can Prestige. Your level goes back to 1 and your Level Unlocks lock again.
  • There are 10 Prestiges. Each one gives a new icon, Prestige challenges and rewards, and one Permanent Unlock. Prestige 1 gives the Echo Veil Operator skin. Prestige 10 gives the Reaper's Mark blueprint.
  • After Prestige 10 you enter Prestige Master, which runs to Level 1,000 and has no more resets.

What you keep matters more than what you lose:

  • Kept: weapon levels, attachments, builds, camos, Mastery Badges, Operators, challenge progress, plus Battle Pass, Store and event items.
  • Reset: your Level Unlocks and your per-Prestige combat stats. Lifetime stats stay in your Combat Record.
Prestiging only resets your equipment unlocks. Your camo grind and weapon levels stay put.

Prestiging is also optional. If the rewards don't interest you, you can stay at 55 for good. A lot of players Prestige anyway, because the icon is the first thing other people see in the lobby.

The best modes for account XP

Short version: objective modes beat kill-only modes, and long matches beat short ones.

Account XP comes from score, so you want modes where kills, objective plays, assists and scorestreaks all add up. Here's how the main options compare:

ModeWhy it worksBest useThe catch
Hardcore Hardpoint / DominationLong matches, constant objective scoreMain account XP grindHardcore isn't for everyone
Kill ConfirmedEach tag pays out, even when you didn't get the killFast, steady XPRewards running around, not holding positions
Endgame (Avalon)Long matches plus bonus challengesSteady XP over long sessionsBad matches waste a lot of time
ZombiesSteady XP, very strong for weapon XPLeveling guns and rank togetherA slower round pace hurts your hourly rate
Face Off / small mapsAlmost no time between killsWeapon XPLess objective score per match
Campaign11 missions, about 55,000 XP totalOne-time bonusYou can only collect it once
TDM / Free-for-AllKills onlyWarming upBad for XP. Skip it.

One guide estimates 25,000 to 30,000 XP per Hardcore match without Double XP, and 40,000 to 50,000 with tokens active and challenges stacked on top. Your numbers will depend on your skill and your lobbies, so take those as rough figures, not a promise. Players also point to Endgame on Avalon as an underrated option because matches run long and the bonus challenges add up.

The loadout that earns the most XP

Short version: build for score, not K/D.

  • Field Upgrade: Squad Link. Teammates in its radius earn bonus XP, and you get score for supporting them. The Command Relay overclock doubles the score Squad Link gives you, so equip it once it unlocks.
  • Perks: Gearhead for more field upgrade uptime, Assassin for extra score when you kill players on high streaks, Bankroll to start each life with +150 score toward streaks, and Looper in the Perk Greed slot so you can earn streaks again in the same life.
  • Scorestreaks: cheap ones like UAV, Counter-UAV and Watchdog Helo. You'll call them in over and over, and they keep earning score while you play the objective. An expensive streak you never reach earns you nothing.

This setup won't win any killcam highlights, but it gets you to Commander faster.

Stack every multiplier you can

Short version: Double XP is the biggest factor, so plan your sessions around it.

  1. Use Double XP tokens only when you have a full session ahead. A token running while you sit in menus or change loadouts is wasted.
  2. Check your token inventory. Unused XP tokens from Black Ops 6 carried over to BO7, and plenty of players never noticed.
  3. Play the Double XP weekends. Season 6's most recent event ended on October 12, so watch for the next one.
  4. Clear all three dailies every day. Players report about 1 to 1.5 levels per day from them. Over a full Prestige, that's a lot of free levels.
  5. Level weapons while you rank up. Weapon challenges and weapon kills feed your account XP too. Rotate between three to five guns and switch when one slows down, because weapon XP drops off noticeably after the first 10 to 15 levels.

Common mistakes that slow your climb

Short version: most slow climbs come down to playing the wrong modes.

  • Grinding TDM or FFA. You only get score from kills. Objective modes pay for everything you do.
  • Fighting away from the objective. In Hardpoint, kills you get away from the hill are worth less to you than time on it.
  • Prestiging without a plan. Each Prestige locks your loadout items again. Decide what to use your Permanent Unlock on before you reset. Our guide to spending all 10 Permanent Unlock Tokens goes through the options.
  • Running expensive streaks. A 1,000-score streak you reach twice a week loses to a UAV you call in every life.
  • Ignoring the calendar. Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, 2026. Season 6 runs until about then, and BO7 lobbies are expected to empty out quickly once early access starts. If you want a Prestige icon before everyone moves on, you have days left.

Is a BO7 leveling boost safe and worth it?

Short version: it's worth it if your time is short. It isn't risk-free, and nobody can honestly promise that.

The grind is simple but long. Ten Prestiges means climbing 55 levels ten times, and the dailies and Double XP weekends only speed it up so much. That's the reason players pay for leveling, especially with a new game about to launch.

On safety: any third-party service carries some risk under Activision's terms, and anyone claiming theirs is "ban-proof" is lying. AstroBoost keeps that risk down by doing the work through normal gameplay, with no cheats, scripts or exploits. If you want to stay in full control, our BO7 bot lobbiesfrom $2.56 need no account password. You play the sessions yourself and earn weapon XP, account XP and calling card progress in a private lobby.

Whether it's worth it depends on what your hours are worth to you. If you enjoy the climb, the methods above get you there. If you just want the icon, the Reaper's Mark blueprint and your loadout unlocked before MW4 arrives, paying for it can make sense.

Final word

Climbing from Rank 1 to Prestige 10 means ten full 55-level runs, even with Double XP, objective modes and a score-focused loadout. If you'd rather spend that time actually playing, our BO7 account leveling and Prestige boostfrom $4.90 can take you to any Prestige you choose, with the price updating as you set your target.
