Vaporizer in ARC Raiders
The Vaporizer is a large airborne ARC deployed on high-importance missions, first observed escorting the ARC Assessor; its glow is visible from a long way off. It attacks with a line-of-sight laser beam that leaves pools of burning fire wherever it touches, and it can face several Raiders at once. Frozen Trail (2.0) adjusted its multi-target laser to give a clearer dodging window for fast traversal and the dodge mechanics. Throwing seeking or other projectile grenades at it — Seeker Grenade, Wolfpack — triggers a defensive energy shield, like the Matriarch's, that blocks all projectile damage including small arms while it is up.

Lightly armored overall. The thrusters are the listed weakness, and shooting the underside knocks off a small rectangular panel that exposes the core. Once the shield drops it cannot be raised again for a short time — that cooldown is the real opening.
How to kill the Vaporizer
Do not fight it in the open: get into a building or behind substantial cover first, because the laser ends an exposed Raider fast. Bait the shield deliberately with a cheap projectile, wait for it to fall, then dump your seeking or high-damage weapons into the thrusters and the exposed underside during the cooldown. Keep moving to stay out of the fire pools; its laser is far more forgiving than its glow suggests once you break line of sight. Destroying one is worth 500 XP, plus 600 XP for scavenging the chassis and 500 XP for the thruster.
