Pops waddle toward movement and explode when they reach you. They often idle dormant near loot caches and activate when you get close — the soft chime as one arms is your only warning in cluttered rooms.

Never melee a Pop. Detonate it from distance with a single shot, or walk a wide arc around dormant ones to save ammo. Its blast damages other ARC too — baiting one into a patrol is free damage.
